Primary Duties/Responsibilities
Person will be responsible for most aspects of the Apigee operations environment. Person will be working in fast-paced and extremely technical environment. He/She must also be able to handle on-call duty when escalated to.
Key Responsibilities are:
• Support every facet of the operations environment.
• Drive internal projects from hand off and execution into operations.
• Performing many job duties: monitoring, troubleshooting, systems architect, networking, security expert, and capacity analyst, and database administrator.
Functional Competencies
• The candidate must have:
• Knowledge of tools for automating systems deployments
• Extensive scripting experience, preferably Perl and Bash.
• In depth knowledge of TCP/IP ,LINUX, Protocals, BIND, and other core technologies
• Strong understanding of network and server security
• 1+ years EC2 and scripting experience desired
