Please note: Unix Admin Experience: 2+ years Qualification: Diploma (10+2+3 - full time is mandatory) or Any Graduation (full time is mandatory) Job Description: Manage the IT infrastructure of the customer consisting of various flavors of UNIX and core infrastructure services like Cluster, DNS/NIS, NFS etc Manage UNIX Service Delivery as per the agreed contractual terms to meet/exceed the agreed service levels. Ensure the service delivery under the ITSM framework Incident/ problem/ change management Analysis of the environment and perform root cause analysis for identified problems etc. __________________ Job Responsibilities: The selected person will report to the HP Storage team to help with data migration activities. This person will assist the HP System administrators before, during and after data migration maintenance events. Be on point to assist the SA's in updating HBA Drivers and Firmware and the implementations of host based SAN path failover such as MPIO. After data has migrated, this person will work with the SA's in the event they have to troubleshoot problems. Review system configurations insuring hosts are correctly configured for new SAN storage. Assist in server upgrade plans to enable data migrations. Attend project planning meetings Technical presentations to HP Accounts and HP Hosting delivery teams on activities that the delivery teams need to perform as part of data migrations.
