VAM SYSTEMS is currently looking for UNIX-Network Administrator for our Qatar operations with the following skill set and terms and conditions:
Skill Set required:
UNIX
• UNIX (Perl/Korn/Bourne) and the ability to design and write operating system and platform utilities.
• Good Understanding of LDAP, NFS, SSH, SMTP, SFTP, SNMP, SSL concepts.
• Administering Volume Management tools like Veritas Volume Manager, Linux LVMs
• Administration experience in Solaris, Linux and Aix is preferable.
• Experience in storage administration.
• Compiling and configuring Linux Kernel according to the hardware and optimizing its performance.
• Setup of NFS Server and Client
Network
• Strong experience in LAN, WAN, cisco, router and switches.
• Deep understanding of network/distributed computing environment concepts: host routing tables, fundamental TCP/IP protocols, DNS.
• Installed and configured hardware and software for Network printer
• Configuring and Maintaining Firewall.
• Monitor the performance of network and make improvements.
• Monitor and maintain performance of network and network components.
• Backup of network configuration and test backups for integrity.
• Assist with medium and long range computer facility, data communication and systems planning.
• Other related duties
Certification:
CCNA/CCNP/Certified Unix Administrator.
Domain: Banking
Experience Required: Minimum 3 yrs.
Terms and conditions:
Joining time frame : maximum 4 weeks
