Client: HP (contract to Hire)
Exp: 3-6 yrs
Location: Bangalore
Notice Period: 15-20 Days

Job Description:
1. Candidates should have total of 4+ years of experience with following skill

2. Must have hands on system admin experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS 4.x / 5.x server on the following areas

· Installation and configuration of Red Hat Linux using Kickstart
· Veritas Storage Foundation:

1. Veritas Volume Manager (“VxVM†);
2. Veritas File System (“VxFS†);
· Veritas Cluster Server (“VCS†) 3.5 / 5.00;

3. Should have worked on the following

· File system Creation
· Knowledge of HP SAS “OpsWare†software and associated tools, scripting
· Security Compliance (SSH, SFTP, SUDO, Sendmail)
· Capacity reporting
· System management documentation
· Linux Shell Scripting/Perl
· Insight Manager
· OS Installation
· Configuration
· Performance management
· Troubleshooting and resolution
· Root-cause analysis

4. Should have sound knowledge on
· Networking knowledge - TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
· Knowledge on Filesystems and NFS
· Unix Shell and perl scripting
· Troubleshooting & Resolution of Windows server

5. Experience on Communications/interactions with customers is a must have.
6. Should be willing to work independently , passion to meet aggressive timelines in a large production environment
