Skills:
1. Web sphere Application server Engineering (5 Yrs plus)
Architectural knowledge of WebSphere Application Server 6.1 and 7.0, Responsible for the design and implementation of an enterprise websphere application server environment with a strong focus on XD, WAS security, capacity planning, performance tuning and automation/scripting

2. Web Infrastructure Engineer

General Description:
Candidate should possess skills in Application Network Engineering with a focus on infrastructure components such as server load balancing and content delivery networks.

Must be strong in the following areas:

Server/Global Load Balancing (F5 skills a plus) If not aware of F5 then atleast should aware of different load balancers available in market. Understanding of F5 is must as the responsibility is to configure and troubleshoot load balancers..
* Web Proxies
* Content Delivery Networking (CDN)
* Application Acceleration/Optimization
* TCP/IP troubleshooting (packet capture analysis)
* HTTP troubleshooting, analysis (HTTPwatch)
* Security
*
Must have a working knowledge of the following:

IP Routing and Switching
Web Systems – IIS, Apache or any other webserver.
* DNS
* Linux OS or Windows
*
3. IIS Admin

Expertise in administration (installation, configuration, monitoring, upgrade) of large number of IIS based Web servers (versions 5 and 6) with strong troubleshooting skills

Experience in Microsoft .net configuration

Experience in web application deployment , monitoring , component deployment / Release management

Good knowledage of windows operating system , Windows 2000 / 2003

Should have experience in load balancing/failover/SSL configurations

Knowledage of Web-related standards, such as HTTP, HTML, XML, and XSLT.

Understanding of Web-based security standards (cookie-based and Basic).

Experience with relational databases (Oracle, Sybase, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and SQLServer) is preferred.

4. WAS Administrator profile:

Skills required:
3+ years WebSphere application server administration
A thorough understanding of Administration of WebSphere Application Server Version 5.X and 6.X on Unix and Windows environments
Must have experience on configuring WAR/EAR
Operational experience in managing WebSphere and related infrastructure
WebSphere Certification a plus
Unix systems administration a plus.
