Notice Period Job Overview - - Know-how on system utilities development/debugging under Unix platform· - Well versed on Open-Source platform development· - Know-how on misc Infrastructural services/daemons like DHCP/DNS/Web servers/LDAP etc.· - Linux system administrations· - Experience with different variants of open-source Linux· - Good know-how on scalable applications build/compilations/linking, load time issues. - Good on system architecture, Operating System, Networking concepts· - Has worked on languages (C/shell/Perl)· - Knowledge of Linux OS internals, booting process, Filesystems· - Well versed with Linux Kernel Compilation· - Managing and applying various Kernel patches· - Analysis and debugging kernel panics while system initialization and boot-up process· - Hierarchy of kernel loadable modules and kernel components· - RAM disk creation, device mappings on file system, memory mapped files· - Well versed with Linux network services like firewall, SSH, Terminal Services· - Worked on version controls like cvs/svn· Basic IP addressing/subnetting/routing - Know-how on open-source kernel as well as user-space packages build and debugs - Has previously delivered at least one of the following: - Has deep experience with tools, development, debug envir - UNIX kernel/User-space package development.
