Candidate must have worked on Solaris for at least 1 year (Recently)
Summary Description/Functions/Responsibilities:
This position is a Unix/Linux Systems Administrator for a large-scale 7x24x365 Enterprise computing environment.
The candidates function will be maintaining a largely Sun Solaris v. 9/10, and Linux RHEL 5 environment, with EMC and NETAPP SAN storage equipment.
Required Experience and Skills:
5 years of experience within a Unix/Linux environment, with a minimum of 1 year recently administering a Solaris operating system as his/her primary system. .
For Solaris, experience with O/S 9 and 10, containers and Disk Suite UFS or ZFS.
The candidate should also have experience working with production/ development/ test systems with sensitivity to the individual needs of those environments and how they effect the end result to the customer.
