Urgent Requirement for Product Support Engineer (Database Handling, Scripting,Linux/Unix) in India's Largest VAS MNC.

JD â€"
• Excellent knowledge of operating systems - Windows & Linux( Good knowledge in Linux is mandatory) .
• Knowledge on Active directory may not be required but should be strong in administrating server and troubleshooting OS/performance related issues
• Good Knowledge of installation and maintenance of Antivirus, Windows software updates & basic security implementation.
• Good knowledge of Server hardware and troubleshooting. Must have knowledge on how to analyze system performance and recommend hardware upgradations suitably.
• Excellent knowledge of a application / Technical Support environment.
• Good knowledge in scripting languages
• Excellent Interpersonal and Analytical Skills

Also, knowledge of some of the following would be highly advantageous:

• Good understand on basics of Database (MySql & SAP DB), Java applications, Apache web server & Tomcat.
• Knowledge of basic Telecommunication & Mobile communication.
• Managing structured cabling, Crimping of network cable and troubleshooting network (Server) related issues.
