Note :- This opening is for 6 MTH (extendable) Contract To Hire with a CMM-5 Level Comp

Job Description/Skills

• In addition to Solaris, good working knowledge of HPUX, AIX, Linux with all the criteria listed above. Strong knowledge of VERITAS Clusters, Volume management, and DMP.
• Good understanding and familiarity with various hardware platforms to include many SUN, IBM, HP and DELL platforms.
• Great communication and documentation skills Process oriented Must work in a large team environment and the ability to share and gain knowledge for additional items that
we support.
• This will include HPUX, AIX, LINUX, Opsware, Remedy, and any additional tools or software as directed by management.
• Must have 4 + years experience in managing large UNIX
• Strong Knowledge of Solaris 8/9/10 for support in a production environment that includes senior level break fix knowledge, patching, risk analysis and ongoing proactive maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of Data on SAN, and adding carved LUNS to live production systems.
• Familiar with UNIX Virtualization and proficient in any one of UNIX virtualization (HP-UX, Solaris, Linux and AIX)
• Experience with remote servers management. Familiar with Perl scripting, Shell scripting, Python scripting. Self motivated to seek work without much supervision.
• Must be willing to work in night shifts.
