Client : Alcatel Lucent Location : Bangalore Experience: 3.5 to 6 yrs Role Description : The CA&P India team is responsible for the Platform delivery for WCDMA Node B. The platform team provides the common platform software for all the boards and support the WCDMA NodeB product from estimation to fieldd delivery and field support at customer locations as well. This mainly involve the board level work which runs on VxWorks and Linux. Roles and responsibilities: Ownership of modules at Board level. The involvement would be there from requirement review to design, coding, testing and support to test teams and field support during FOA. Mandatory skills: Programming Languages: C. Operating System: VxWorks/RT Linux/pSOS (in addition to strong OS fundamentals). Processor Background: Basics of processor architecture. Design/code/debug background: in any of the following areas for a real time/embedded system (datacom/telecom): Firmware/Device driver - sRIO/I2C/CAN/UART/Ethernet/Framer/ATM/NPU driver or microcode. Board bring up/Power on sequence/OS porting/BSP. Platform software - memory mgmt/IPC/high availability/audits/on-board diagnostics/embedded debug tools/exception handlers. Transport Protocols - Ethernet/ATM/IMA/TCP/IP/DHCP/RIP/OSPF. Tools: any of the following Debug tools - Crash dump, GDB, dbx, Tornado, CodeTap/ICE/JTAG emulators Protocol testers - Adtech/Catapult/AX4000 IDE tools - Purify/Klocworks/Coverity/RTRT, Cross compilers Desired skills: 1. Programming Languages: C++, Assembler (ARM/PPC/RISC) 2. Processor Background: PPC/PQ/ARM/NPU (Intel/Wintegra) architecture 3.
