AIX Administrator/Linux Administrator--McKinsey--Gurgaon

Job Location: Gurgaon

We are having 2 urgent positions with our client McKinsey India-McKinsey Knowledge Center (www.mckinsey.com) for Gurgaon location.

Positions Name - Aix Support Analyst/ Linux Support Analyst

Skills -
* Willingness to work in shifts (including night and weekend shifts).
* Strong expertise of Linux/AIX Server.
* Operating system configuration, maintenance and administration for Linux/AIX servers Firm-wide, partly in a virtualized environment.
* 2nd level support for application development and support teams in resolving technical problems related to applications hosted on McKinsey's AIX/LINUX servers and SAN systems, including coordination of 3rd level escalation to technical vendor support teams.
* Configuration and maintenance of the Firm's data backup and system recovery environment based upon IBM Tivoli Storage Manager
* Configuration and maintenance of Storage Area Network systems (IBM DS 8300, DS 4800, XIV and SVC).
* Contribution to the continuous improvement of the Firmwide UNIX server, SAN and data backup environments by development, documentation and promotion of best practice maintenance, 1st and 2nd level trouble shooting procedures.
* Implementation of distributed systems management and monitoring capabilities for our global UNIX environment.
