Job Details
•should have atleast 4+ years experience with Solaris 10 System Administration / Redhat Enterprise Linux 5 System Administration
•Enterprise Technologies (NFS, jumpstart/kickstart procedures, performance tuning)
•Package management, scripting with UNIX shell or Perl scripts and standard UNIX utilities for automation and scheduling of jobs for various administrative tasks.
•Should have experience in configuring and troubleshooting Web Servers(Apache), working with application/webserver log files and log rotations
•Knowledge of TCP/IP internet working - DNS, FTP, SSH, HTTP, SMTP, LDAP
•Have excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills with little supervision (network, hardware, OS, performance related problems).
•Ability to successfully handle the completion of multiple concurrent assignments or related support mechanisms for escalation/resolution purposes.
•Experience with Sun Fire blades and Solaris zones
- Experience in working with Volume Managers preferably Veritas
- Knowledge of Load Balancers (preferably NetScaters)and Storage systems (preferably NetApp Filers) is a plus.
- Solaris SCSA 10 and Redhat RHCE certifications are added values
