3+ Years of Total IT experience in Production Support
Minimum 3+ years of experience in Handling Enterprise Level Production support in Solaris platform
Level 2 experience in Solaris
Experience in Shell Scripting
Knowledge in SQL queries
Hands on experience in Netcool Omnibus is necessary.
Possess a thirst for learning
Be a self-starter
Highly motivated with the ability to handle a fast pace environment
Possess strong teamwork and communication skills.


DESIRED SKILLS OR KNOWLEDGE:

ITIL Certified
People with demonstrated high level problem solving skills.
Proven Leadership and People Management Skills
At least 3 years Service Management and/or Problem mgt, IT Infrastructure Support in a complex IT environment

Urgent Opening for MySQL DBA position - MUMBAI

There is Urgent Opening for MySQL DBA position for one of the CMM Level 5 Company for Mumbai location. MySQL DBA (4 to 7 yrs) PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES â€" Will Work in a 24 X 7 Environment (NOC). Will support the Clients over email as well as phone. Will be responsible for the uptime of the various client projects being managed / monitored. Will report to the team leader. Will make sure that the Tickets raised per shift are closed in the required time limits and if not escalated as per the escalation Matrix defined. Raise and Update the tickets in CRM for all the issues handled / worked upon. Will have to report the daily issues handled / escalated in the form of Daily reports. Apply patches to the SQL / applications or upgrade the applications as and when required, as per the approval from the respective Team Leaders. Will have to do audits of the setups done by the fellow engineers to make sure that the setup being handed over to the customer is done to the customer's satisfaction. Need to make sure that issues are handled in right time frames as per the SLA / commitments. PREREQUISITE SKILLS: Understanding of database administration in MySQL RDBMS environment. Experience in managing MySQL database based applications. Knowledge of the .NET platform and SQL services oriented architecture is preferred. Data modelling, query design and optimization, stored procedures. **Ability to understand large data models. Work closely with development teams and be responsible for physical database design and implementation performance tuning Knowledge related to computer hardware including networks, RAID and storage devices (SAN) Hand-on-Experience Disaster recovery procedure for backup & recovery on Production Servers Extensively knowledge of Mysql Commands, Mysql performance tuning , Linux Write and/or help maintain scripts to automate Database Administration tasks Manage and responsible for database archiving, backups, replication and security Measure, monitor and analyze database usage, uptime and performance Knowledge for MySQL Replication. Hand-on-Experience of Database troubleshooting pertaining to performance etc. Knowledge of some SQL Performance & Diagnosis Advisory Tool.
